From the Founder's Desk — Odunsi Ayanfeoluwa, Co-founder & CEO

A great company doesn't depend on one talented copywriter. It builds a system where everyone can communicate clearly. As KIAGO TECH grows, more people will write on behalf of the company — new marketers, support staff, sales reps, product managers, designers, developers, AI agents, founders. Without a system, every person writes differently and customers experience different personalities depending on who they interact with. That weakens trust.

This playbook is not just for today's team. It is for every future employee who joins KIAGO TECH.

The KIAGO TECH Copy Checklist

Clarity

  • Can a 15-year-old understand this?
  • Is the message obvious within five seconds?
  • Have unnecessary words been removed?

Customer focus

  • Does the copy focus on the customer more than the company?
  • Are we solving a real problem?
  • Are we using customer language?

Value · Trust · Action

  • Are we explaining outcomes instead of features?
  • Are the claims honest, with proof where appropriate?
  • Is there one clear CTA and does the customer know exactly what to do next?

The KIAGO TECH Five-Pass Editing System

  1. Clarity — remove jargon, simplify sentences.
  2. Customer focus — replace company-centred language with customer-centred language.
  3. Value — translate every feature into a benefit and every benefit into an outcome.
  4. Brevity — delete unnecessary words. Shorter is usually stronger.
  5. Conversion — strengthen the CTA, reduce objections, increase confidence.
